YOUR ROLE

We're looking for a Solutions Design Manager to join our growing team, playing a key role in designing innovative transport and supply chain solutions for some of our largest and most complex customer opportunities.

Working closely with Business Development, Operations, IT, Procurement, and customer stakeholders, you'll lead the development of tailored logistics solutions that drive operational excellence, improve efficiency and deliver outstanding customer value. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, supporting major bids and strategic business growth.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Lead the design of innovative end-to-end transport and supply chain solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Manage multiple complex solution design projects simultaneously, each at varying stages of the sales lifecycle.
  • Develop commercial models, rate cards and operational costings to support customer proposals.
  • Present solution proposals confidently to customers, demonstrating professionalism and technical expertise.
  • Analyse customer data to identify opportunities for operational improvement, optimisation and cost efficiencies.
  • Produce detailed solution documentation, process flows and supporting materials to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Continuously identify innovative technologies and process improvements that enhance customer solutions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent commercial awareness and the confidence to engage with customers at all levels.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within Solutions Design, Transport Planning, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse large datasets, build commercial models and produce accurate costings.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience presenting complex solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
