The Solution Development Lead is a senior pivotal role reporting to the Business Change Director to deliver high quality and effective HAAS Operational Service Delivery solutions that meet the requirements of the HAAS contact.
They will lead on the design, assurance, development and evaluation of Service Delivery Solutions across Lots 1 and 2, in response to the Authority’s changing agenda.
They will provide full operational and commercial impact analysis against both Maximus’ HAAS solution and the HAAS service requirements, to provide assurances to Maximus, and to underpin conversations and decision making with the Authority.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application and be currently residing in the UK. Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Accountable for detailed operational and commercial impact analysis of solutions against Maximus Operating Model and HAAS service requirements, to provide assurance to Maximus, and to facilitate commercial arrangements between Maximus and the Authority.

Work closely with decision makers in the Authority to influence on the design, development and assurance of solutions in both Lots 1 and 2 in response to the Authority’s changing agenda

Engage with and influence all levels of internal and external key stakeholders to ensure buy in and commitment to the plan, from design through to deployment and ‘BAU’

Assure that the solution will be delivered to plan, and to budget. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to both the solution and service delivery

Monitor and measure impact of change, conducting thorough analysis of resource, performance and quality data to provide the Business Change Director, HAAS Leadership, Capita and the Authority with updates

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience of solution design of impacting significant change projects successfully.
- Track record of successful developing and managing senior government contract stakeholders ideally demonstratable with the DWP.
- Strong strategic and operational problem-solving skills.
- Commercial acumen and financial awareness.
- Operational Delivery Experience.
- Performance focussed with a track record of success.
- Track record of successfully developing positive Stakeholder relationships.
- Customer focused both internal and external with ability to command respect quickly.
- Proven ability to analyse problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
- Worked on DWP PIP or WCA contracts.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of the Maximus HAAS Lot 1 and Lot 2 solutions
- Understanding of HAAS service delivery and associated contractual requirements
- Experience interpreting and applying contract schedules
