Job Purpose
The position of the Solutions Director, Hedge Funds is a key position leading the accelerated delivery of new business sales revenue across this institution type. This role is responsible for leading the strategy for the growth of hedge funds across all 3 brands within the Derivia portfolio.
Key Objectives
- Deliver new business subscriptions revenue against agreed targets in a scalable, repeatable way.
- Lead and manage market/product training for all individual sales representatives selling to hedge funds as an institution.
- Deliver against individual sales targets throughout the financial year, both on new business and renewals.
- Align the team’s objectives with business goals through strategic planning, forecasting and resource allocation.
- Maintain an acute sense of client need in order to lead by example and unlock business development opportunities.
- Work with product leads and Director of Business Development to establish commercial strategy for the GC Greeks product launch.
- Work with Director of Business Development to grow our existing book of hedge fund clients and upsell to latest product offerings.
- Manage hedge fund related renewals across SRP, SRP Greeks and GC.
- Join commercial leadership team meetings and weekly calls.
- Develop the effectiveness of our hedge fund related sales collateral.
- Deliver robust, accurate and on-time pipeline and forecasting reports for individual hedge fund.
- Lead effective communications across the company and to customers for all hedge fund related product development.
- Drive adoption and accuracy of CRM.

Key Interfaces
- Work with the Director of Business Development to ensure consistent performance against agreed targets.
- Provide customer feedback and insight to the relevant teams regarding product and content development.
- Work closely with the marketing team to improve demand, lead generation and value positioning for this segment.
- As a member of the commercial leadership team, work cross-functionally on value-creating projects.
- Working closely with Account Managers, Customer Success, Product Leadership, and senior client stakeholders to drive:
- new business,
- cross-sell,
- upsell,
- and long-term client value.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Exceptional commercial acumen and sales skills, required.
- Experience selling complex solutions into financial institutions globally.
- Salesforce expert as an individual contributor.
- Exceptional pipeline management & forecasting skills.
- Skilled coach of BANT, or other B2B sales methodology.
- 5–15 years’ experience in:
- financial markets sales,
- fintech,
- enterprise software,
- market data,
- or workflow technology.
