We’re building a dedicated Solutions function at Unizen, and we’re looking for an engineer who wants to help shape it.
You’ll design and deliver technical solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, endpoint and security technologies, take ownership of technical project delivery, and act as an escalation point for the more complex problems our Service Operations team encounters.
Some days you’ll be designing and implementing a new solution. Others you’ll be troubleshooting something difficult, improving an existing environment, or identifying something we should automate.
If you have a curious mind and a passion for solving interesting problems, we have a feeling you’ll fit right in. We’re looking for someone who can:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Design technical solutions, not just implement them.
- Take ownership of projects from requirement through to handover.
- Troubleshoot confidently across Microsoft cloud, endpoints and networking.
- Write useful PowerShell.
- Spot opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate.
- Work autonomously and communicate clearly.
An open-minded thinker and precise communicator who enjoys collaborating with colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Experience with Microsoft Graph, Azure automation, RMM/PSA platforms or security frameworks is useful, but you don’t need to know everything – so long as you have a hunger to learn.
What matters more is strong fundamentals, curiosity and the ability to work through unfamiliar problems.
