Tailored IT and Service Team Solutions Architect Location: London, UK – Hybrid (Office-centric)
Our Sales team harnesses a customer-centric approach to generate efficient, long-term customer pathways by building a robust marketing and sales engine. This role focuses on Asana Service Management—partnering with IT and service teams to drive growth through repeatable technical plays, bridging gaps between customer needs and product features.
The Mission
- Serve as an extended member of Asana’s Product GM team, translating technical challenges into scalable solutions.
- Shape product positioning, demos, and technical narratives to help customers envision AI-driven workflow automation.
- ** incubate** flexible processes to align with Asana’s mid-market expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Discovery
- Partner with Account Executives to validate technical fit and guide mid-market IT/service accounts (300–2,000 employees) from discovery to close.
- Map IT and service workflows (intake, approvals, triage, automation, SLAs) to Asana Service Management functionality.
- Conduct deep technical discovery through sessions, whiteboarding, and tailored demos.
Solution Design & Stakeholder Communication
- Translate customers’ pain points into practical solutions and compelling business value narratives for IT leaders and stakeholders.
- Advise on architecture, integrations, admin setup, and deployment, ensuring smooth evaluation processes.

Scalability & enablement
- Build repeatable demo assets and content to support the broader sales team as this work evolates.
- Surface structured feedback on product gaps, pricing objections, and open opportunities to PM and Marketing teams.
About You
Essential: ✅ Proven curiosity for AI, automation, and emerging tools (willing to learn their fringe value). ✅ 3+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or technical sales roles. ✅ Deep understanding of IT/service workflows and systems (ITIL, ticketing, ESM). ✅ Sharp discovery skills: uncover patterns, constraints, and KPIs before proposing solutions. ✅ Ability to translate technical jargon (e.g., integrations, LLMs, workflow design) for both executives and engineers. ✅ Collaboration expertise: work closely with AEs, product teams, and field engineers. ✅ Comfortable in early-stage projects where documentation and playbooks evolve dynamically.
Awesome Bonus: 🔹 Familiarity with legacy software displacement, SLAs/catalog design, or AI-driven ticketing workflows. 🔹 Experience shaping technical narratives for high-stakes sales conversations.

Total Compensation Guidance
Base Salary (2024): €92,050–€98,000
- Equity, sales bonuses, and global benefits included.
- Base salary adjusted upon qualifications vs. market benchmarks.
