Solutions Engineer | £60,000 - £80,000 + Equity | Hybrid (2 days per week, London)

Here at Burns Sheehan, we're working with an AI software company that's helping enterprise organisations get real value from their investment in AI. Following continued growth, they're looking to hire two Solutions Engineers to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems but also wants to work closely with customers. Around 70% of the role is supporting enterprise customers with technical issues, investigating problems and improving their experience. The other 30% is hands-on engineering, fixing bugs, improving internal tooling and making small improvements across the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Working closely with Customer Success and Engineering
  • Helping improve monitoring, documentation and operational processes
  • Feeding customer feedback back into Product and Engineering
