About this role
The Solutions Engineer fills an essential role at Optimove - part technical expert, part storyteller. You'll sit at the centre of our EMEA sales cycles: tech calls, product demos, integration deep-dives, and the creative problem-solving that shows a prospect how the disparate pieces of the MarTech landscape can best work together. Your job is to understand what a prospect actually needs and map Optimove's solution against it - credibly, to engineers and marketers alike.
You'll work across the verticals where we're strongest: iGaming, e-commerce and retail, and financial services - so you'll learn how retention, loyalty and lifecycle marketing really work in businesses where those things decide the P&L.
You don't need to have been a Solutions Engineer before. Maybe you're customer-facing today with technical capacity you don't get to use - implementation, onboarding project management, or a technically-inclined CSM. Or maybe you're on the technical side development, technical support, technical account management, customer engineering - and you're ready to bring that depth into client-facing work. If you have the technical foundation and the personality to sell with it, we'll teach you the craft: you'll be mentored by experienced Solutions Engineers and have real ownership from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- Partner with our Account Executives as the product and technology expert on new-business cycles — leading tech calls, running integration discussions and product deep-dives, and owning the technical questions that come up in the deal
- Build and deliver product demos that connect what our platform does to what each prospect actually needs - clear, compelling, concise
- Understand each prospect's technical and business requirements and map the Optimove solution against them, configuring the platform to show a real fit rather than a generic tour
- Become the go-to resource on Optimove's products and technology across the sales cycle, and support RFP and RFI responses
- Use AI every day to work smarter - researching prospects, building demo assets, sharpening the story. This is a team that builds its own AI workflows and demos Optimove's AI to prospects, not one bolting AI on afterwards
- Work closely with our Data and Integration teams to keep the "Front Stage" and "Back Stage" tightly connected
- Support product enablement for the Sales team, and keep building your own MarTech expertise - we invest in your learning, including conferences
- Travel occasionally to conferences and prospect on-sites
Who you are
- 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role - pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical account management, technical customer success, implementation, professional services or technical support - or a technical role with real customer exposure. An SE title is not required
- A technical foundation, through education or experience, with a working understanding of APIs, system integrations and data structures
- A clear communicator about technology - with engineers and with non-technical audiences. In this role, interpersonal skill counts as much as technical skill
- Genuinely curious, and already reaching for AI tools to work smarter (or itching to). This matters to us more than it might elsewhere
- Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity - you take ownership, seek feedback, and find the path forward before the playbook is written. MarTech moves, and so will this role
- Able to run several deals at once and hold your commitments to the AEs you're supporting
- Excellent English, and the right to work in the UK
