Salary: £90,000–£120,000 base
OTE: £128,000–£171,000

About the role
We are recruiting a Solutions Engineer for a growing tax technology company. You will work closely with the sales team and enterprise customers, leading technical discussions from initial discovery through to implementation planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, scoping and solution design.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Advise customers on API integrations and implementation requirements.
- Carry out gap analysis and help resolve technical issues.
- Support the handover from pre-sales to implementation.
- Develop detailed knowledge of the company’s tax automation products and APIs.
- Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams.

Requirements
- At least four years’ experience as a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON and API documentation.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Confident presenting technical information to business and technical stakeholders.
- Able to turn customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
