The Opportunity
As a Solutions Engineer at Iru, you will serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert on device management for our prospects, internal teams, and our growing customer base. Acting as a trusted resource, you’ll bridge the gap between Sales, Success, Product, and Support, helping customers and prospects understand Iru's capabilities and guiding them toward effective solutions. Your insights and customer advocacy will shape product enhancements, demonstrate Iru's value, and foster long-term relationships.
This is a hybrid position in our London office 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).
What You'll Do
- Consult and Educate: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical deep-dives to prospects, customers, and partners, showcasing how Iru addresses complex device management challenges.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Sales and Success teams, contributing technical expertise during sales cycles and customer onboarding. Develop and refine resources—such as scripts, API examples, documentation, and training materials—to empower both customers and colleagues.
- Advise and Troubleshoot: Serve as a second- and third-level escalation point for technical issues. Work directly with Support to identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical cases, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate solutions.
- Influence Product Direction: Act as the customer’s voice within Iru, relaying feedback, feature requests, and improvement ideas to Product and Engineering teams. Help shape the product roadmap by sharing trends and insights gleaned from customer interactions.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Assist in refining internal processes and onboarding experiences for Iru prospects that turn to customers. Provide guidance on best practices, engage in knowledge sharing, and continuously seek ways to enhance Iru's technical resources.
- Maintain Technical Mastery: Stay current on platform developments, MDM standards, and ecosystem integrations. Be prepared to handle a wide range of inquiries—from networking and directory services to security and SSO integrations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
