The Role

AI is reshaping how organizations build, ship, and scale digital products, and APIs are the connective tissue that makes it possible. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the pre-sales journey, partnering with prospective customers to:

  • Understand their technical needs
  • Demonstrate the value of Gravitee’s platform
  • Show how our technology can support their AI-driven digital transformation goals

You won’t just be presenting a product—you’ll help customers vision what’s possible with the next generation of AI-driven digital experiences, driving Gravitee’s growth by turning technical conversations into trusted partnerships.


What You’ll Be Doing

At Gravitee, impact is visible, measurable, and global. In this role, you will:

  • Drive technical sales success by partnering with Account Executives to:

    • Lead the technical sales process
    • Demonstrate Gravitee’s value
    • Transform prospects into happy, successful customers
  • Understand & solve customer challenges by:

    • Conducting discovery sessions
    • Delivering impactful product demos
    • Leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
    • Providing expert technical guidance

  • Support and grow existing accounts by:

    • Collaborating with Customer Success Managers & Technical Account Managers
    • Ensuring customers maximize value from Gravitee
    • Identifying opportunities for growth & expansion
  • Foster strategic partnerships by:

    • Engaging with partners & service providers
    • Exploring new opportunities & technical collaborations
    • Extending Gravitee’s reach and impact
  • Shape the future of Gravitee by:

    • Working closely with marketing, product development, and other teams
    • Influencing product evolution
    • Providing customer feedback
    • Contributing to webinars, blog posts, and content initiatives

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Consultant, or Solutions Engineering role (B2B vendor)
  • Track record of providing solutions and engaging with technical customers (e.g., developers & architects)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to:
    • Present advanced technical topics
    • Deliver tailored demos to varying audiences
  • Experience with middleware technology, preferably in:
    • API management
    • IAM (Identity & Access Management)
    • Integration platforms
  • Core technical knowledge of:
    • REST, JSON, and XML
    • Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
    • Linux
  • Creativity and innovation" to develop new content, ensuring discovery & learning about Gravitee

Desired but Not Required (Bonus Points)

  • Experience with Event-Driven Architectures & APIs
  • OAuth2 & OpenID Connect expertise
  • Knowledge of Kafka, gRPC, & GraphQL
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • LLMs or AI Agent frameworks
    • AI/ML workflows
  • Scripting skills (Java, JavaScript, Python preferred)
