Job Title: Technical Sales Professional

Role Overview

Technical sales professional, owning the Cisco brand with customers. Provides technical solutions to address customer business needs. Collaborates with the account team and connected sales teams on the customer plan, jointly ensuring customer success. Serves as an expert, or trusted technical advisor by the account team and customer.

By partnering closely with Account Executives and leveraging Cisco’s global network of technical experts, you will architect innovative solutions to complex business challenges. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic outcomes while contributing to a lasting legacy of customer success and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted technical guide for a key Public Sector and Commercial accounts, representing the full breadth of Cisco’s technology portfolio.
  • Design innovative solutions to address real-world challenges to drive tangible customer success.
  • Lead technical presentations and customer meetings to secure project buy-in and align Cisco solutions with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to accelerate growth and digital transformation.
  • Engage in-person with stakeholders at customer sites to foster deep relationships and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develops multi-year strategic plans for customers, integrating Cisco’s portfolio.
  • Deepens expertise of Cisco's portfolio by integrating extensive domain knowledge with cross-architectural solutions.
  • Shape senior executives' technical strategy.
  • Integrate customer’s business objectives and industry knowledge to develop comprehensive cross-architecture solutions.
  • Utilize advanced competitive intelligence to differentiate Cisco solutions.
  • Demonstrates agility by adjusting strategies in response to significant disruptions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive pre-sales experience in Enterprise Networks and Security and additional knowledge of Data Center & Cloud, Collaboration and Artificial Intelligence would be welcomed.
  • Significant professional experience in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical presentations or customer meetings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies and hands-on problem solving.
  • Ability to thrive in competitive and fast-evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working at Cisco or with the Cisco portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
  • Possession of a relevant Cisco or industry certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE).
