The Opportunity
Pulse Group is working with one of the world's leading universities to find an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to join its incredibly talented team.
This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of digital services at a globally recognised institution, supporting thousands of students, researchers and professional staff.
With the core ServiceNow platform now well established, the focus has shifted towards developing and enhancing the products that sit on top of it. You'll play a pivotal role in this next phase, leading solution architecture across a portfolio of products designed to improve how people work, access services and interact with technology.
Working within a product-led environment, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, technical teams and senior stakeholders, helping to turn complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable and well-architected digital solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead solution architecture across the ServiceNow product portfolio, from initial design through to Technical Design Authority approval.
- Drive the evolution of the Service Catalogue, ensuring robust data architecture and high-quality service delivery.
- Shape a personalised employee experience portal, bringing together tasks, approvals, support tickets and live incidents in one centralised workspace.
- Design automated workflows and low-code solutions that streamline processes and reduce manual intervention across the organisation.
- Develop clear architecture diagrams, technical documentation and solution designs to support governance and delivery.
- Design integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and connected user experiences.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and technical teams to deliver innovative products at pace while maintaining platform stability.
- Help define the future direction of the ServiceNow product portfolio, promoting architectural best practices and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect who combines technical expertise with a genuine product mindset. Someone who understands not just how to build a solution, but why it matters to the people using it.
Essential experience:
- Strong, hands-on solution architecture experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Proven experience designing and delivering products built on ServiceNow, including service catalogues, employee portals and workflow automation.
- Experience working within product-led environments, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality and integration design across enterprise systems.
- Experience producing architecture diagrams, technical documentation and presenting designs through formal governance processes.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, Product Managers and technical teams.

Desirable experience:
- Microsoft Dynamics or wider CRM architecture.
- ServiceNow Employee Center, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, App Engine or CSM.
- Experience within higher education, the public sector or similarly complex organisations.
- Low-code development, citizen development governance or business architecture.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD or CIS.
