The Position
The Solutions Owner for Commercial Analytics is responsible for the design and integrity of the UK's commercial analytics products. Your focus is the last mile of data: the dashboards, performance suites and visualisation tools built on top of the data lake. You ensure Marketers, Medical Affairs and Field teams have high-performance products to answer their commercial questions.
You do not manage the underlying data lake or the refinement of raw data, which sits with a separate Data team. Instead, you act as the primary UK contact for centrally governed enterprise analytics products, driving adoption and effective use of global offerings rather than building bespoke solutions, and defining what the UK needs surfaced so those products work perfectly.
The Opportunity
- Your focus is the interface between data and decision-making, making the commercial truth easy for people to see.
- You serve as the primary UK expert for global analytics offerings, advising on optimal deployment for specific business needs.
- You drive adoption of global analytics and customer-insight tools, fostering a data-driven mindset across functions.
- You influence the development of global solutions so they are optimised for the UK market.
- You collaborate with Data Engineering to define requirements for data ingestion and refinement.
- You establish technical guardrails for data privacy, consent tracking and KPI definitions, ensuring a single version of the truth.
- You advise Marketing, Medical Affairs and Field teams on the right enterprise tools, discouraging fragmented reporting.
- You upskill teams on data interpretation, fostering self-service and data literacy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
