About The Role
In this role you will be working within the Market Development, Global Sector Support team to deliver bespoke Solutions for targeted market sectors e.g. Beverage, Food and Pharmaceutical. You will provide embedded and PC-based software development, deployment and support.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Perform site visits/surveys internationally when required for requirements capture, testing, debugging.
- Create test harnesses for validating own developments.
- Work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities, providing a quick response to customer technical issues.
- Author technical documentation.
- Utilise their electronic/electrical skills in interfacing and wiring up e.g. AppBox3/Printers to customer equipment and internal test fixtures.
We recognise that flexible homeworking can be beneficial and at Domino we want people to feel able to own the way they work. The successful candidate will be required to make occasional visits to Domino Headquarters in Cambridge. This role will also involve occasional international travel to support customers.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience of working with production systems and enjoys problem solving. You must have experience with software source code and artifact management (GitHub, Fusion, Publishing, Analysis). Candidates must be able to speak English to a high technical level.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Demonstrable embedded software skills (C/C++/RTOS/IO/Peripheral-control). Especially, RS232 and Ethernet comms/protocols and TLS, HTTP(S), Javascript, server/client architectures.
- PC software skills (IT infrastructure, C#.NET, http, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of the C&W applications and OEM’s including knowledge of the development environment associated with it. [Otherwise, knowledge transfer and training will be required].
- Knowledge of Domino inkjet printing especially Ax with Komax printing pack. [Otherwise, knowledge transfer and training will be required].
- Familiarity with CRA requirements for compliant products.
