Join our dedicated Maternity Ultrasound team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and play a key role in delivering high quality, compassionate care to women and families across our services.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer with expertise in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound who is passionate about clinical excellence, patient experience, and service development.

In this autonomous Band 7 role, you will undertake and independently report a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological examinations, supporting both routine and complex patient pathways. You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of safe, evidence-based care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and independently report a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological examinations.
  • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
  • Maintain the highest professional standards.
  • Assess findings, communicate results sensitively, and contribute to effective patient management.
  • Work closely with obstetric, midwifery, and fetal medicine teams.
  • Support service development, audit, quality assurance, and adherence to national screening standards and Trust policies.
