Then we would love for you to join our dynamic and supportive team of multi-disciplinary Sonographers here at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and professional sonographer to join our team. You can be either a general medical or obstetric sonographer or both. We have full or part-time roles available.

You will get the opportunity to perform all obstetric including Nuchal scans, general abdominal, gynaecological ultrasound examinations at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and peripheral sites, working in line with Band 7 expectations in all areas of practice.
Our purpose-built Diagnostic Ultrasound department has a fleet of flagship GE equipment, a successful, more than 10 years, rolling Sonographer training program, 7-day affable Radiologist support, and dedicated Interventional Ultrasound facilities.

Our refurbished Antenatal clinic is based adjacent to the antenatal clinic, providing Antenatal care to approximately 3,500 women a year and has state-of-the-art Canon and GE equipment in a 4-bed unit, providing an interdisciplinary fusion of Radiographer, Nurse, and Midwife Sonographer led services.
