Sonographer
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Contract Type: Temporary
Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer to support a temporary opportunity in Worthing, West Sussex. The role involves providing high-quality ultrasound scanning services, ensuring patients are supported throughout their appointments and that scans are carried out safely, professionally, and to a high clinical standard.
Key Requirements
- HCPC-registered Sonographer
- Member of the Society of Radiographers (SoR)
- Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance Cover
- Experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scanning
- Experience performing ultrasound scans from 6 to 40 weeks' gestation
- Experience with both internal and external scanning techniques where appropriate
- Strong patient communication and reassurance skills
- Ability to recognise and appropriately manage potentially concerning findings
- Confident producing accurate scan images and reports
- Strong understanding of ultrasound safety and the ALARA principle
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
