Role Overview
In this important role you will make a difference by working as part of a highly skilled and motivated team providing a high-quality ultrasound service at the Royal United Hospital and at our community hospitals as required.
About You
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Sonographer with proven ability to work autonomously.
As an experienced and competent practitioner you will understand the need for a caring and compassionate approach along with attention to detail, play a key role in the delivery of the ultrasound service and are able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to service development and CPD.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake all types of obstetric, gynaecology and general ultrasound examinations & provide independent reports - this includes early pregnancy assessment, and TVS.
- Assess and report on your own specialised workload.
- Having a valid UK drivers’ licence would be advantageous.
Requirements
- DMU/PgCert/PgDip or equivalent, with experience of working within an ultrasound department.
- Trainees nearing the end of their Ultrasound training will be considered.
- CASE accredited Post Graduate Certificate in Obstetric ultrasound or Post Graduate Diploma which includes Obstetrics, Gynaecology & General Medical examinations.
