Are you a Sonographer looking for the chance to truly make a difference in people’s lives.

We are seeking experienced Sonographers to deliver high-quality ultrasound screening and support our preventative health services, at our second clinic at Lower Eashing (Nr Godalming).

Company Description

The Mary How Trust for Cancer Prevention is an independent charity providing health screenings to detect early signs of cancer and other serious conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. The charity helps individuals understand and manage their health risks so they can lead healthier, happier, and more productive lives. Based at our new clinic in Lower Eashing, Nr Godalming. Health screening is made accessible through a donations-based model, supported by generous donors, fundraisers, and legacy gifts.

Role Description

On-site Sonographer role based in Godalming. The Sonographer will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, supporting early detection of cancer and other serious diseases in line with the charity’s clinical protocols. Responsibilities include preparing clients for scans, reviewing medical histories, operating ultrasound equipment, interpreting findings, and documenting results clearly and accurately. The role involves working closely with clinical and administrative colleagues to coordinate appointments, maintain client confidentiality, and ensure a supportive, person-centered experience. The Sonographer will also contribute to quality assurance activities, help maintain equipment, and participate in continuous improvement of screening pathways.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performing abdominal ultrasound scans
  • Interpreting results and producing detailed reports
  • Advising clients on findings and next steps
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Supporting audits and clinical quality standards

What we’re looking for

  • HCPC registered Sonographer
  • Report writing and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Passion for health and wellbeing
