At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. The Amazon Transportation network is building a world-class middle and last-mile operation, exceeding our customers' expectations by ensuring their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible.

About the Role

The EU Demand Forecasting and Planning team is looking for an analytically driven Analyst with a passion for data and a strong automation mindset. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and data analytics: you will own complex analytical problems end-to-end, from querying large-scale supply chain and logistics databases, through generating insights that influence planning decisions, to building the automated reports and tools that make those insights repeatable and scalable across the EU network.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex supply chain and logistics datasets to identify trends, surface patterns, and conduct root cause deep dives that inform planning decisions.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Design and build automated reports, dashboards, and data pipelines that make recurring analyses self-serve and scalable across EU.
  • Develop production tools, websites, and ETL pipelines that replace manual processes with reliable, repeatable solutions.
  • Support demand forecasting and capacity planning cycles with quantitative analysis and reports/tools.
  • Become the subject matter expert on internal tools and systems, driving improvements in data quality, methodology, and analytical best practices.
  • Leverage AI and GenAI to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive work, and uncover insights at scale.
  • Collaborate with EU-wide stakeholders across multiple functions and countries to scope analytical questions and deliver data-driven answers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
