Job Description
Join a project focused on crafting high-quality sound effects for short video clips, contributing to an AI training dataset. You will receive short video segments, typically one to two minutes in length, and your primary responsibility will be to remove the original audio and design a new soundscape that accurately matches the on-screen action. This includes creating sound effects, ambience, and foley using either commercially licensed sound libraries or your own recorded material. Only sounds corresponding to visible actions are required—no music or speech. Each completed clip must be delivered as separate sound stems for each source, accompanied by simple timestamped notes indicating when each sound occurs. Comprehensive guidance and a worked example will be provided to ensure clarity on expectations before you begin. The initial phase involves delivering 10 finished hours of audio, with the potential for a larger ongoing collaboration based on performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
