About The Role
We’re looking for passionate people to join our Butlin’s Team.
Our teams create unforgettable experiences for our guests and we are currently looking for amazing team members to join us in our bar, restaurant and leisure teams. No experience is necessary and we will give you all the training you need.
- Working alongside a fantastic team, we will support you every step of the way to ensure you gain the skills and confidence to truly get stuck in.

As part of our technical stage crew team, you will be supporting the day to day events, activities and production shows that we put on at Butlin’s Minehead. You will be a crucial part of making the magic happen for our guests on stage and behind the scenes.

We have Stage Technician positions available and are looking for a specialisation in either sound or lighting/av but ideally an ability to set up and operate both.
The Purpose of the Role:
- Operate Sound, Lighting and/or AV for productions shows. Our content is often track driven from Qlab triggering automated lighting and monitored sound control.
- Building sets, staging and the upkeep of props and sets for shows and activities.
- Venue support setting up sound, light and AV operations including the programming and aligning of Qlab, using midi and other interfaces.
- There will be some heavy lifting and moving of stages, staging, sets, scenery, and related equipment.
- Cleaning and upkeep of back of house area.
About You
- Have previous technical experience.
- Hands on experience with setting up and programming (all or some) of GrandMA, Qlab, Yamaha, Dante, Midi, DMX and other related technologies.
- A willingness to learn and share; to build your, and other crew members, skills and knowledge.
