Product Owner - Source-to-Pay Transformation
Location: Reading or Dublin (Hybrid)
Duration: Initial 12 Months
Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35 if UK Based)
We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to join at a pivotal stage in its Source-to-Pay (S2P) Transformation Programme. This is a high-profile role that will sit at the heart of a major enterprise transformation, helping shape the future Source-to-Pay landscape while ensuring operational continuity across the existing estate. The initial focus will be on the discovery phase, working closely with Procurement, Finance, Technology, Architecture, Engineering teams, and third-party partners to define the future-state solution and delivery roadmap.
We're seeking someone who can hit the ground running, bring deep S2P transformation experience, and understand what good looks like within a complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead product ownership activities across the Source-to-Pay technology landscape.
- Drive discovery activities, helping define the future-state operating model, processes, technology architecture, and roadmap.
- Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Technology, Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to define requirements and shape solution design.
- Coordinate operational and technology activities, joining processes together across multiple functions and platforms.
- Manage product backlogs, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and integration requirements.
- Represent the S2P technology domain within wider transformation programmes.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions, driving alignment and decision making.
- Support the transition of new capabilities into the ongoing product and support model.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading or supporting enterprise-scale Source-to-Pay implementation or transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes, including procurement, sourcing, supplier management, invoicing, receipting, and payments.
- Experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Technology Lead within a complex S2P environment.
- Strong technical understanding of architecture, integrations, system dependencies, and technology landscapes.
- Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and product priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Finance, Procurement, Technology, Architecture, Engineering, and third-party suppliers.
- Strong governance, planning, dependency management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise organisations.

Essential Technology Experience
Candidates must have implementation, transformation, or product ownership experience with one or more of:
- Oracle
- SoftCo
- SAP S/4HANA
- Source-to-Pay platforms and ecosystems
Desirable Experience
- SaaS product environments.
- Multi-vendor technology landscapes.
- Procurement and Finance transformation programmes.
- Product-led delivery models.
- Retail or consumer-facing organisations.
