Job Summary
The Sourcing Agent - Singapore, is responsible for identifying and qualifying new suppliers, supporting new business opportunities, negotiating supplier agreements, and driving cost-saving initiatives. The role works closely with internal and overseas teams to ensure successful project implementation, improve supplier performance, and promote sourcing best practices.

Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential new sources
- Work closely with local sales and overseas teams to support all new business quoting activity
- Review and negotiate supplier contracts, agreements and other terms and conditions
- Identifies opportunities for sourcing excellence and cost savings and drive through to implementation
- Ensure complete follow through of all new project implementations
- Develop best sourcing practices to improve supplier performance
Requirements
- Previous 2+ years of experience in a sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing sourcing activities within a manufacturing, logistics, or commercial environment.
- Proven track record of identifying and onboarding new suppliers.
- Experience supporting quotation and tender processes for new business opportunities.
- Understanding of procurement best practices and supplier performance management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across local and international teams.
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
