Job Description

The Sourcing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Sourcing team, helping to manage supplier relationships, track critical paths and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to make sure product lands on time, to the right quality and at the right cost. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start a career in garment sourcing within a fast-paced, dynamic fashion business.

You will work closely with internal teams including Buying, Merchandising, Fabric Sourcing, Garment Tech and Sustainability, as well as external suppliers across key sourcing regions.

What you'll be doing...

Supplier Management

  • Support the onboarding of new suppliers and build strong, collaborative relationships across the supply base
  • Track and review supplier performance, capabilities and capacity to support commercial and strategic decisions

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate supplier databases, trackers and scorecards
  • Analyse sourcing, cost and merchandising data to support trading decisions and identify opportunities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to deliver shared objectives
  • Partner with Ethical Trade and Sustainability teams to support compliance, responsible sourcing and improvement plans

Project & Administrative Support

  • Support sourcing projects and global initiatives across the season
  • Assist with costings, sampling requests and ongoing supplier communication
  • Prepare clear internal updates, summaries and presentations for key stakeholders

Operational Support

  • Attend supplier meetings, visits and trade shows as required
  • Support the execution of sourcing strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Who we'd like to meet...

  • You’ve got experience working in a fast moving retail or fashion environment and enjoy working at pace
  • You’re highly organised, detail focused and confident working with data, trackers and spreadsheets
  • You’re a clear, confident communicator who builds positive relationships and collaborates with ease
  • You’re comfortable working independently but love being part of a supportive, team-first culture
  • You’ve supported projects, processes or teams and know how to see things through
  • You’re genuinely curious about sourcing with an awareness of sustainability and human rights and want to be part of positive change
