Our client is a global leader with decades of expertise in designing, sourcing and delivering high-quality clothing solutions, and has operations in the UK, Europe, ASIA and US.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Sourcing & Compliance Manager with a solid background in fashion & textiles. Reporting to the Head of Production and Sourcing, you'll lead global sourcing activities while ensuring the supplier network meets the highest standards of ethical, regulatory and compliance performance.

This is a strategic role combining commercial sourcing, supplier relationship management and compliance leadership. You'll work closely with global suppliers across multiple product categories to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions that support growth aligned with business objectives, maintain targets and brand values. Based from a HQ in Castle Donington this is a permanent full-time hybrid role, with regular international travel to visit suppliers, conduct audits and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver global sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with international suppliers.
  • Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery and innovation.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities to improve margins.
  • Lead supplier compliance programmes, including ethical sourcing, ESG, product safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage supplier audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure suppliers meet UK and international regulatory standards.
  • Champion responsible sourcing and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through effective planning and supplier management.
  • Lead and develop a team of Sourcing & Compliance Specialists.
  • Regular international travel to support supplier visits, audits and performance reviews.

Qualifications

  • You'll be an experienced sourcing and supply chain professional from within fashion and textiles who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Significant experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing or product-led business.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • A proven track record of managing supplier compliance, governance and audit programmes.
  • Good knowledge of garment and fabric manufacturing, materials and global supply markets.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
