Role purpose
We are looking for an organised, curious and motivated professional to join the UK Regional Sourcing Team, supporting Real Estate and Facilities Management procurement in a global, client-facing environment.
This is an operationally focused role with a clear development pathway, providing structured support across procurement administration, compliance, systems, reporting, data and sourcing activities. You will help the team deliver high-quality sourcing outcomes while building hands-on procurement expertise from the ground up.
Working in a highly regulated client environment, you will take ownership of repeatable processes where accuracy, governance, documentation and stakeholder coordination are critical, while progressively gaining exposure to supplier engagement, commercial decision-making and end-to-end sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Perform supplier risk checks and compliance activities, prepare contract documentation for signature, manage contract uploads in Coupa, and maintain accurate procurement records, trackers and documentation.
- Build strong knowledge of Coupa, KPMG JPPM, work instructions and procurement workflows, becoming a reliable point of support for contract and administrative processes.
- Take ownership of repeatable operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and process consistency and reduce unnecessary administrative workload.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, trackers and status updates for internal reviews, client meetings and sourcing activities, ensuring deadlines, priorities and risks remain visible.
- Support defined sourcing work packages from initiation through completion and handover, coordinating with client stakeholders, internal teams and third-party providers.
- Support market research, supplier engagement, tenders, evaluation preparation and contract administration, taking on greater sourcing responsibility as experience develops.
- Help develop structured project approaches tailored to client requirements and gain exposure to how sourcing and category strategies are developed and implemented.
- Identify, document and monitor project risks, escalating issues early and supporting agreed mitigation actions.
- Develop progressively into a broader operational sourcing role, building expertise in procurement systems, contract workflows, compliance, supplier engagement, reporting, stakeholder coordination and client delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
