Our Procurement organization plays a critical role in supporting business growth by ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, developing strong supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. We are looking for a Sourcing Experienced Professional – Buying/Procurement who is passionate about strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and operational excellence.

Partnering with the Best

As a Sourcing Experienced Professional – Buying/Procurement, you will support the execution of procurement strategies that align with business objectives and growth plans. You will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement operations.

You will play a key role in supplier negotiations, procurement process management, supplier performance monitoring, and operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business success.

As a Sourcing Experienced Professional – Buying/Procurement, you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to procurement strategy and plans to support the Solutions business growth objectives and operational requirements.
  • Overseeing Global Solutions daily procurement activities and managing the end-to-end purchasing process from supplier inquiry through purchase order execution and accounts payable coordination.
  • Working independently while supervising and managing procurement operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective execution of sourcing and purchasing activities.
  • Leading supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms, delivery performance, and contractual outcomes.
  • Managing supplier onboarding activities, including vendor qualification, product qualification, and compliance verification processes.
  • Developing and implementing procurement best practices and standardized processes to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Managing and monitoring supplier compliance and performance against established contracts, purchase orders, quality requirements, and procurement processes.
  • Fostering the active daily use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies to improve HS&E, quality, delivery performance, financial outcomes, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve quality, delivery, cost performance, customer satisfaction, and overall business outcomes.
  • Ensuring all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with Baker Hughes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, legal compliance requirements, regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and company procedures.

Fuel Your Passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related business function.
  • Demonstrate strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Have experience managing end-to-end procurement processes in a dynamic business environment.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and execution excellence.
  • Have experience working with supplier qualification, performance management, and compliance monitoring processes.
  • Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
