Sourcing Lead - Remote Contract Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Sourcing Lead for a 3-6 month contingent engagement, working remotely.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Strategic sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies across complex laboratory and clinical service categories.
- Procurement project management: Manage multiple sourcing projects end-to-end with clear timelines, deliverables, and savings targets.
- RFx and eSourcing: Lead RFI/RFP events, bid analysis, and supplier evaluation using digital sourcing tools.
- Negotiation: Drive commercial negotiations and support contract award and handover in collaboration with Legal, Quality, and Finance.
- Benchmarking & analytical skills: Conduct spend analysis, market benchmarking, and build robust cost comparisons.
- Excel & PowerPoint: Use advanced Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for clear stakeholder presentations.
- Laboratory categories & research CRO markets: Apply strong understanding of supplier landscapes, cost drivers, and market trends in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
- Contract systems & SOP compliance: Support integration of agreements into source-to-pay systems and ensure adherence to procurement policies and quality standards.
- Stakeholder management: Run stakeholder meetings, manage risks, and influence senior partners across our client's team.

Contract details:
- £60-70 per hour
- Inside IR35
- Start date - ASAP
- End date - February 2027
- Fully remote
