About the Role

Oystr is the umbrella brand of Setteo Ltd, encompassing our ecosystem of brands — Setteo, Movn, Medikka and Obbvio — alongside our white-label offering for federations, governments and institutional partners. Founded on the belief that technology should bring people together ("Make the world play together"), Oystr builds communities, and the technology that serves them.

Our technology is recognised by leading institutions — including the French Tennis Federation (FFT) and French research bodies CNRS and INSERM — but recognition alone isn't a business model. As AI increasingly commoditises software development, we believe the durable value lies in the communities we've built, not the tech layer. Each product in our ecosystem — Movn, Medikka, Obbvio, and the white-label superapps we build for institutional partners — is a community in its own right, and merchandise is one of the clearest ways to monetise that value directly, across every brand under the Oystr umbrella.

This role also extends beyond conventional merchandising, and is expected to evolve over time toward sourcing physical products more broadly — potentially including co-branded and hardware products developed with institutional partners, as our R&D and institutional relationships open up new opportunities. Sourcing capability here isn't just about producing branded goods; it's about building the supply chain and product development function that lets Oystr turn its communities and institutional relationships into real physical products.

We're looking for an experienced sourcing and merchandising leader to build and run this function from the ground up. The role begins with a strong merchandising focus — owning sourcing, supplier relationships and product execution across merchandise for Oystr's ecosystem of brands (Movn, Medikka, Obbvio and others) and our B2B/white-label offering — and is expected to evolve over time into broader sourcing as the business grows. Reports to the CEO, with direct reports across the Sourcing & Merchandising team, including Project Support Officer(s).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Procurement Strategy: Own the end-to-end sourcing strategy for all merchandise and co-branded product lines — identifying, evaluating and onboarding manufacturers and suppliers across apparel, accessories and branded goods categories.
  • Institutional & Co-Branded Product Development: Work directly with institutional partners (federations, research bodies, and similar) to source and develop co-branded physical products that extend their communities' engagement through Oystr's platform.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, capacity and delivery commitments with suppliers; maintain a vetted supplier base that meets Oystr's quality, cost and reliability standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the sourcing and merchandising team, including project support and purchasing staff.
  • Product Development & Quality Coordination: Oversee sampling, costing and proofing processes from initial brief through to bulk production.
  • Order & Delivery Management: Coordinate order follow-up across quotation, production, quality control, booking and export logistics, across Oystr's ecosystem of brands and institutional/white-label partner programmes.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product, design and partnerships teams to translate community and institutional requirements into sourcing and production briefs.
  • Cost & Margin Discipline: Manage procurement budgets and cost targets to protect margin across all product lines.
  • Sourcing Evolution (Future Scope): As Oystr co-develops connected technology and hardware products with institutional partners, extend sourcing capability from merchandise into hardware components and devices.
