Role Purpose

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will lead sourcing initiatives across the category including Consultancy, Tax, Legal, HR (insurance, benefits and learning & development) and marketing, supporting global clients in optimizing spend, reducing risk, and delivering commercial value. You will manage end-to-end sourcing projects, from strategy development through contract execution, while collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. The role combines procurement expertise, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder management within a consulting environment. You will play a key role in delivering measurable business outcomes and supporting procurement transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across the Professional Services category.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Manage competitive sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and e-auctions.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to deliver cost savings and business value.
  • Draft, review and manage contractual documentation using approved templates and standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of sourcing projects.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities and category developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and procurement transformation initiatives where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience managing sourcing events and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience reviewing or supporting contractual and commercial documentation.
  • Proactive, collaborative and results-oriented working style.
