Are you an ambitious Sous Chef looking to be part of something special from the very beginning?

We're looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the opening team at Yarrow, our brand new restaurant at Paramount Place, a luxury retirement village in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Open to both residents and the public, Yarrow offers a fresh, seasonal dining experience in a beautifully designed setting, making this an exciting opportunity to help establish a destination restaurant with an excellent reputation.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, on a rota of any 5 days out of 7, with shifts including weekends and evenings.

Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional food, leading the kitchen team, and creating memorable dining experiences for our residents and guests. This is a hands on role with plenty of opportunity to bring ideas, develop your skills and progress your career within a growing organisation.

If you thrive in a quality-led kitchen, enjoy working with fresh ingredients, and take pride in delivering outstanding food and service, we'd love to hear from you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
