Role Overview
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food and memorable dining experiences. You will maintain culinary standards, coach and develop the kitchen team, manage stock and food costs, and uphold food safety, all while fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment to achieve smooth and successful services.

We're looking for Sous Chefs who are passionate about great food, strong teamwork, and creating memorable dining experiences.
At The New World Trading Company, you'll be a key part of the kitchen leadership team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food while maintaining a positive and high-performing kitchen culture.
You'll lead by example, support the development of your team, and help ensure every service is delivered with consistency, quality, and care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Coaching and developing kitchen team members
- Supporting stock control and food cost management
- Maintaining food safety and compliance standards
- Delivering smooth and successful services
- Helping create a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong culinary skills with a passion for leadership and teamwork.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie is desirable.
