The Works
As a Sous Chef, you will be a key part of the kitchen leadership team, supporting your Head Chef and Sous Chef while taking real ownership of your section during busy service.
You will play an important role in driving standards, supporting the development of junior chefs, and helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently and consistently.
You will be responsible for:
- Running your section with confidence during service
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver high standards
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising waste
- Helping manage rotas and maintain kitchen efficiency
- Coaching and developing junior team members
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
- Contributing to a positive, motivated and high-performing kitchen culture
