Amazonico London is looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to support the leadership of our dynamic kitchen brigade in the heart of Mayfair.

Located on the iconic Berkeley Square, Amazonico brings the vibrant spirit of Latin America to life, where immersive dining, a lively atmosphere, and luxury hospitality meet in a world-class setting.

We’re now seeking an experienced Sous Chef who thrives in high-end, high-volume kitchens and is ready to support, lead, and inspire a passionate culinary team.

About the Role – What You’ll Do

As our Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining kitchen standards and supporting the Senior Sous and Executive Chefs with day-to-day operations. You'll be hands-on with food preparation, staff training, stock control, and service coordination, all while helping to deliver the Amazonico experience.

Operational Support & Execution

  • Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and maintained throughout service
  • Prepare and present dishes in line with Amazonico’s standards and specifications
  • Supervise and support junior chefs across all sections
  • Oversee food quality, portion control, and consistency during service

Kitchen Coordination & Development

  • Assist with stock orders, rotation, and inventory management
  • Support in onboarding and training of new kitchen staff
  • Contribute to the creation of new dishes and seasonal specials
  • Complete daily and weekly reports as required
  • Step into leadership when senior kitchen management is not present

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or high-volume kitchen
  • Confident leadership and mentoring abilities
  • A passion for precise execution and bold flavours
  • High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism
  • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen health & safety
