Sous Chef Opportunity at The Punchbowl, Lapworth

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Manage rotas in line with sales forecasts to ensure smooth service.
- Oversee food ordering and stock control to minimise waste.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes to spec, maintaining the highest standards.
- Ensure all deliveries meet quality, quantity, and freshness standards.
- Take charge of allergen procedures and ensure compliance across the team.
- Develop and contribute to new dishes and seasonal menus.
- Step up and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Lead by example by training and supporting the team to meet high standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A passion for fresh, locally sourced food.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for hospitality.
