Kricket

Recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for the second year in a row, Kricket is a collection of modern Indian restaurants that combine British ingredients with the flavours and aromas of India. Having started life in a 20-seater shipping container at Pop Brixton, Kricket now operates permanent locations in Brixton, Canary Wharf and Soho alongside our award-winning bar concept, SOMA. The group is looking to grow further in London and internationally.

Our newest location, in the heart of Shoreditch, is a 120-cover restaurant and bar, housed in a restored Victorian dispensary. It’s an evolution of the Kricket brand, featuring our first all-day café and bar concept alongside our signature restaurant experience.

About The Role

We're looking for a Sous Chef to join the Shoreditch team! Someone who can run any section of the kitchen with ease and confidence, and help lead the brigade through a busy service. You will be responsible for delivering consistently exceptional food, upholding our standards on every plate, and supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. The perfect candidate brings prior knowledge, a calm head under pressure, and bundles of energy- helping to develop the wider kitchen team and keep everything running smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
