As part of Bart & Taylor, an award-winning and growing collection of boutique bars and restaurants across London and the North, we're looking for a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef, inspire the team, and help deliver outstanding food every day.

What you'll be doing
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen, maintain exceptional standards, and ensure every service runs smoothly.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service
- Helping to train, coach, and develop junior chefs
- Assisting with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Managing stock, ordering, and helping to minimise waste
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation are always maintained
- Stepping up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence

We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progress, with:
- A passion for fresh, seasonal food and quality ingredients
- Strong leadership skills and a positive, hands-on approach
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen
- Good knowledge of food safety, stock control, and kitchen operations
- A commitment to developing others and working as part of a close-knit team
- High standards, attention to detail, and pride in every plate that leaves the pass
