Sous Chef
We're looking for an energetic, ambitious, and hands-on Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team at the Swan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves leading from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional food and service.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of a high-volume kitchen, supporting and developing the team while maintaining the highest standards across every service.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day management of the kitchen
- Leading and motivating the team during busy services
- Maintaining high food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Assisting with stock management, ordering, and cost control
- Ensuring food safety and kitchen compliance standards are always met
- Training and developing junior chefs
