Sous Chef
You’ll be working in a picture-postcard location that’s graced the big screen across the world, with its iconic Tall Ships serving as a backdrop to blockbuster movies and TV shows alike. Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.

Requirements
- Versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Well organised, adaptable, with a genuine interest in food
- Take pride in keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe
- Confident users of stock management systems
Responsibilities
- Support your Head Chef in leading the kitchen team
- Ensure correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met
- Adapt the menu offer to meet the needs of the business and guests
- Help keep the kitchen running efficiently even at busy times
