Sous Chef – All Day Dining Bistro

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef to step up and work closely with an experienced Head Chef at this popular and vibrant neighbourhood restaurant.

As Sous Chef, you’ll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, overseeing fast-paced Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner services.

The Person – Sous Chef

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in fresh food-focused, busy restaurants is required, where aesthetic plating is foremost, combined with a sound knowledge of all-day dining menus. An interest in different cuisines would be beneficial.
  • An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop, and help to retain a close-knit team of Chefs.
  • Good financial awareness with experience of ordering.
  • Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety, and HACCP.
  • Availability to work a mixture of shifts throughout the week, 5/7 days.
