Sous Chef - Tapas Brindisa

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant team, contributing to the authentic Spanish food experience at Tapas Brindisa. For over 20 years, we've celebrated warm hospitality, bold flavours, and a genuine love for Spanish culture across our London restaurants.

As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary standards and inspiring our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring high performance and continuous development
  • Maintain consistent food quality and presentation, adhering to Brindisa's authentic Spanish culinary standards
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including stock management, ordering, and inventory control
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Develop and train junior chefs, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Contribute to menu development and innovation

About You

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
  • A genuine passion for Spanish cuisine and high-quality ingredients
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
