👨🍳 Sous Chef – Penrith
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a small, welcoming country pub in the Penrith area. This is an immediate start with ongoing work available, and accommodation is provided.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
- Helping to manage and motivate the kitchen team
- Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
- Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience is essential, along with a good work ethic and the ability to work well in a busy kitchen.
