Sous Chef

West Coast of Scotland

Love seafood? Love the coast? Love a kitchen team that actually enjoys working together?

Based on the stunning shores of the West Coast of Scotland, our client is looking for a Sous Chef who’s passionate about fresh ingredients, coastal flavours and creating consistently great dishes. You’ll work closely with their Head Chef to deliver memorable dining experiences in a supportive, well-organised and genuinely enjoyable environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality seafood dishes
  • Leading the team when the Head Chef is off perfecting their golf swing
  • Keeping standards high and consistency spot-on
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and waste reduction
  • Contributing ideas to seasonal menu development
  • Helping build a positive, motivated kitchen culture
