Are you a restaurant-trained Sous Chef who loves serious cooking but wants your evenings and weekends back?
We're recruiting a talented Sous Chef for a prestigious Mayfair investment firm, offering something genuinely rare: restaurant-quality cooking, huge creative freedom, and an exceptional work-life balance.
- Think Ottolenghi-style sharing food, Japanese, Italian, and global flavors, using exceptional ingredients with the freedom to constantly try something new.
Salary and Benefits
- A GBP 43,000 salary
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am-2:00/2:30pm
- No weekends
- Very few evening events
- Time-and-a-half overtime

The Role
- Support the Head Chef with the kitchen operation.
- Create exciting, globally inspired menus.
- Deliver exceptional breakfast and lunch service.
- Research new dishes, cuisines, and food trends.
- Produce premium canapés and hospitality.
- Bring your own ideas and creativity to the kitchen.
- Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation.

About You
- Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef.
- High-quality restaurant or premium hospitality background.
- Technically strong with excellent fresh-food skills.
- Genuinely passionate and curious about food.
- Creative and keen to keep developing.
- Collaborative, professional, and without ego.
- Reliable and looking for a long-term opportunity.
