Job Description
Aramark UK are currently looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Sous Chef to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of in-house food at New College Pontefract, WF8 4QR.

Job Responsibilities
- Running shifts and guiding your team when the Head Chef is not present, producing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Organising and supporting your team to ensure a smooth operation daily, allocating tasks so that your team and time are fully utilised
- Producing food in line with recipe sheets, and having full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergen information
- Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage. Placing orders and keeping records of any stock wastage, alongside receiving deliveries, and ensuring they are stored correctly, and the FIFO method is followed
- Carrying out deep cleans daily/weekly alongside your team, ensuring all staff are fully trained on their sections and have undertaken any relevant training as required
