Sous Chef at Twelve Twenty, Newton Abbot
We are on the hunt for an experienced & driven Sous Chef at Twelve Twenty, Newton Abbot, ensuring that every dish from our kitchen leaves as a masterpiece. Everything from presentation to organisation must be spot on!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu and standards
- Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and is of high quality
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity and passion for food
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Relevant culinary degree or certification is a plus
