About The Role
The Botanist Albert Dock is hiring a Sous Chef. We're looking for Sous Chefs who are passionate about great food, strong teamwork, and creating memorable dining experiences.
At The Botanist Albert Dock, you'll be a key part of the kitchen leadership team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food while maintaining a positive and high-performing kitchen culture.
You'll lead by example, support the development of your team, and help ensure every service is delivered with consistency, quality, and care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Coaching and developing kitchen team members
- Supporting stock control and food cost management
- Maintaining food safety and compliance standards
- Delivering smooth and successful services
- Helping create a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong culinary skills with a passion for leadership and teamwork.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie is desirable.
