Global Highland are recruiting for a Sous Chef for our client at a boutique hotel in the Cromarty area.
This role has an immediate start available and would be an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef with a strong skill set and experience of working in a high-end kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
- Ensuring food quality and presentation standards
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Training and mentoring junior chefs
- Assisting with menu planning and recipe development
- Taking charge of the kitchen when the head chef is absent

Requirements
- Strong cooking and culinary techniques
- Leadership and team management
- Time management and organization
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creativity and attention to detail
What's on Offer
- Annual salary (depending on experience) £36,000-£40,000 plus troncs
- Full-time role, with no split shifts
- Opportunity for a permanent role in a high-end kitchen
