I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The majority of the role is very straightforward. Once you’ve checked everyone in, you’ll spend the rest of the evening making sure guests are having a great time.
💬 Who are we looking for?
We want people with big personalities who are naturally friendly and confident talking to strangers.
You don’t need previous event-hosting experience. What’s much more important is that you’re:
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident speaking to new people
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable being the first person guests meet
- Able to take initiative
- Professional when dealing with venues and guests
- Someone who genuinely enjoys being around people
A lot of our guests arrive alone and can be nervous, so having a warm and welcoming personality is a huge part of the job.

Events take place on Thursday evenings, with the frequency depending on the city. Some cities may have events regularly, while others will have events less frequently.
We’re looking to build a reliable network of reps who we can contact whenever events come up in their city.
❤️ Why Thursday?
Dating shouldn’t happen exclusively through a screen.
We’re building a world where meeting someone in real life feels normal again.
Our events aren’t about forcing people into conversations or making everyone speed-date. They’re about creating the right environment for people to relax, have a drink, meet new people and see what happens.
If you’re the kind of person who can walk into a room of strangers and make people feel comfortable, we want to hear from you.
📩 Interested?
Apply through LinkedIn and please tell us which city or cities you’re able to work in.
If you’re able to travel between multiple cities, let us know that too.
Please only apply if you are genuinely available to work Thursday evening events in one of the cities listed above.
Let’s get the UK dating in real life again. ❤️
